An online blog for those helping to break the cycle of domestic violence

Category: Winter 2024

As 2024 comes to a close, it can be a time of both reflection and generosity. Should you choose to give to Rose Brooks Center, it is also an opportunity to maximize the impact of your giving!
On average, almost half of those housed in Rose Brooks Center’s emergency shelter are children. It’s why a large portion of one of our facilities is dedicated to our youngest clients.
For over 20 years, Rose Brooks Center has prioritized language access, not only because it’s the right thing to do, but because it can save lives.
“Make your voices heard and support important domestic violence legislation.” These words from CEO Lisa Fleming sum up the reason why we participate in legislative advocacy. . . because our collective voices matter!
When survivors come to Rose Brooks Center, they begin to dream about their futures. What they learn along the way is that they deserve a life free from abuse — one that is bright with safety, possibility, and happiness.
As we approach the close of another year, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your dedication to Rose Brooks Center’s mission.
