Dear Friends,
As another year draws to an end, it’s a common practice to look back and recognize the changes that have taken place in our lives. Our hope is that with change, we’ve also experienced personal growth. For those we serve at Rose Brooks Center, growth is accompanied by healing and recovery from the trauma of domestic violence.
When families come to Rose Brooks, to either make us their temporary home or as they engage in one of our many programs throughout the community, we know one thing is certain, they will experience healing. Thankfully, this is one of the many gifts that safety affords them.
With the support of Rose Brooks, survivors reclaim their independence, self-worth, and ultimately their futures as they begin to heal. Whether it’s individual counseling for adults or children, moving into a new home, or achieving that next milestone in a long and sometimes scary legal process, survivors can begin to look back on the previous days and weeks, and recognize a growth they didn’t know was possible.
As we look back, we also want to thank you, our friends, donors, and volunteers, for allowing us the opportunity to work alongside survivors reclaiming their lives. By your kindness, you offer them the gift of safety and become part of their healing and recovery.
With sincere gratitude,

Lisa Fleming, CEO
