Manager of Housing Case Management

Manager of Housing Case Management 

Rose Brooks Center, a nonprofit domestic violence agency, is currently seeking a full-time Manager of Housing Case Management. This position is responsible for providing leadership and management to the Housing and Economic Advocacy Case Managers, addresses the unique needs for housing and prioritizes safety for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Ensures case management, economic empowerment and aftercare services are consistent with principles of trauma informed care, accessibility, equity and inclusion, quality assurance indicators, and targets for outcomes and productivity. Partners with the Director of Care Coordination and Director of Housing and Economic Advocacy on quality programming and improvements. This position is responsible for the personnel and program supervision of the Housing and Economic Advocacy Case Managers and their services for assisting survivors of domestic violence; carries a partial case management caseload and provides long-term strengths-based case management and supportive services which promote housing and economic stability for survivors of domestic violence.   1. Required Education, Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field; or commensurate work experience.
  • Two years Program Management experience in a related field, preferably in a domestic violence agency and/or administering HUD grants
  • Two years advocacy and case management experience, preferably in a domestic violence agency
  • Expertise in domestic violence and case management for survivors of domestic violence
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and motivate others; experience in developing and maintaining strong collaborations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience providing trauma-informed, equitable, and inclusive services to a diverse client group; understanding of trauma and its impact
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient use of MS Office/Windows operating system, HMIS database
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance.
Preferred Skills
  • Master’s degree in social work or related field
  • Bilingual Spanish/English, verbal and written
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
  • Bilingual Spanish-English
  • Experience providing training/consultation related to domestic violence dynamics and policies
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend stoop, reach, twist, push and pull on a regular basis and/or for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion

  1. Perform all job responsibilities while demonstrating proficiency in all RBC competencies and a commitment to the overall mission of Rose Brooks Center.
  2. Perform functions of job according to agency policies and procedures.
  3. Participate in a minimum of 3 equity and inclusion related activities.
  4. Attend scheduled staff and team meetings; participate in all required trainings.
Hours: This is a full time, exempt position and requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday days but may include some evening and weekend hours. Duties are performed primarily on-site; however, some duties, such as attendance at community meetings and occasional monthly in-home visits with clients will be performed off-site. Compensation: This position falls into a salary range starting at $50,000 annually (exempt).
