The mission of Rose Brooks Center is to break the cycle of domestic violence so that individuals and families can live free of abuse.

Bridge Program
The Bridge Program™ advocates support over 15 hospitals and clinics. They safety plan, provide restraining orders, offer shelter support, and support patients 24/7, 365 days a year.

Children's Programs
Offering a wide variety of services to support the emotional and physical well-being of children who are healing from domestic violence.

Community Education
Since 2001, Rose Brooks Center has been privileged to provide quality domestic violence education built on more than 40 years of DV programming.

Court Advocacy
Advocating for and guiding survivors through complex court systems. Services include advocacy in State and City courts and encompass the following: Adult Orders of Protection, Child Orders of Protection, Legal Referrals and Legal Clinics.

Economic Empowerment
Helping survivors find safe, affordable housing and gain economic stability to build safe homes, free from violence.

Employment Advocacy
Advocacy includes supportive services to domestic violence survivors with the primary focus of self-sufficiency by assisting with employment readiness, job obtainment and retention.

Emergency Shelter
Providing a safe sanctuary where individuals, families, and pets are welcomed, wrapped in support, and can begin to heal.

Hotline
A safe place for individuals in a violent situation, exploring their own relationship, or needing to seek guidance and assistance such as Orders of Protection, Safety Planning or seeking emotional support.

Housing
A permanent housing program for qualified individuals seeking to have a safe environment to live and maintain a sense of independence. A one-year program that wraps participants in case management, financial planning, job readiness and more.

Onsite Clinic
Medical assistance on the premises to provide safe physical healing and support. Health Services Coordinator conducts health assessments to identify client’s health needs and goals while they are receiving services.

Pet Shelter
We have a wonderful pet shelter that with state-of-the art kennels for dogs, cats, and other family pets. This program goes beyond protection and assists the pet owner in accessing community resources to help with the health, safety and well-being of their pet.

Police Advocacy
This program provides advocacy services for victims of domestic violence seen by the Domestic Violence Section of the Kansas City Missouri Police Department. This position is co-located within the Kansas City Missouri Police Department Domestic Violence Section.

Project SAFE
Ending of the cycle of domestic violence by providing therapy, support (via support groups), and classroom education to children and teens dealing with violence at home or in their community or in their own relationships.

Therapy services that help empower adult and child survivors to reclaim their lives through the complex healing process. The clinicians deliver individual assessments, trauma-informed individual and group therapy, advocacy and support planning services.

Volunteer Opportunities
Become a Rose Brooks volunteer and help save lives. There are opportunities for groups or individuals supporting both clients and non-client contact.
