The Bridge Program™

About

The Rose Brooks Bridge Program™ is a free and confidential service for men and women experiencing intimate partner violence. These services are available in hospitals and clinics throughout the Kansas City Metro.

Patients can request to meet with a Bridge Advocate in the safety of the hospital or clinic. Hospital or clinic staff may also offer an advocate after speaking with the patient. Advocates will listen, believe and support the individual, and discuss safety options, while offering additional resources and follow up.

Serving patients experiencing domestic violence in the safety of local hospitals and clinics.

• Services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• Advocates provide compassionate and confidential referrals, including shelter resources, orders of protection, legal services, therapy, and safety planning.

• Continuous training for medical staff is provided annually.
