About the Bridge Program
Bridge advocates are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to meet with patients who are experiencing domestic violence, and connect them with support.
Advocates provide compassionate and confidential support, including shelter resources, orders of protection, legal referrals, emotional support, and safety planning.
Ongoing training and protocol development and training for medical staff is available. A trained staff is key to the success of connecting patients to safety and resources.

The Bridge Program™ advocates support five health systems across 14 different sites. Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every single day of the year.
Last year, 764 patients experiencing intimate partner violence met with hospital advocates.

While hundreds of individuals find safety in emergency shelter, thousands more are served outside of shelter each year.
